Enjoy the above this morning, with your raisin bran. It's my gift to you.
GOP leaders told Bush [last month] that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the [Patriot A]ct could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.
“I don’t give a goddamn,” Bush retorted. “I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.”
“Mr. President,” one aide in the meeting said. “There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution.”
“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” Bush screamed back. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

Alas, I think Bush's aides have learned by now not to say anything that could upset the preznit.
Welcome to the blog world! I look forward to reading your thoughts.
That was cheery.
Hi everyone. Deann, it's so cool that you looked at my blog!
Definitely fire next Wednesday. Actually, fireS: two inside and one out. It's supposed to be not raining and quite chilly, so bring toasty clothes.
Ouch! Looks like W. missed his nap and had a temper tantrum. It is quite a scarry notion to consider that he is doing his level best to undo 200+ years of hard work by conservatives, liberals, and everything in between. I would love for this story to get out in the general media and in the Christian right media, but I wouldn't count on it. The only news print to fit these days is first cleared by Karl Rove.
Adam? Is this Erin's Adam? Otherwise known as Movie Adam or Ashland Adam?
Thanks for visiting--come back early, and often.
